Vaaron, the Fire Sorcerer was painted for a friend. I used a very simple firey red scheme with black details. As this is a gaming miniature for my friends D&D group, it was just a quick paintjob, that took me just around 4 1/2 hours overall.
For the crystal staff head I used a base coat of light pink and a few subtle layers of Citadel red ink. When the last wash had dried I painted over the crystal's top edges with the basic pink again, to lighten them up. After sealing the miniature with clear matt laquer I coated the crystal with some glossy varnish again.
The original reaper base was glued onto a round plastic base and enhanced with the ussual repair putty.
