This was originaly Elquin the Daring, sculpted by Sandra Garrity.
I was looking for a miniature for my AD&D character and this one was very close to it. So all I had to do, was to resculpt his chainmail into a tunic (the magenta-colored part of his clothing) and sculpt him a propper staff.
The idea for the pattern on his cloak was taken from a butterfly. Well, actually the great Fantasy artist Keith Parkinson had this idea in one of his paintings.
