Dies ist der Topaz Dragon aus Ral Partha's " AD&D Dragonlance - Council of Wyrms" Reihe.
Ich finde die Idee, dass dieser Drachen eine Haut aus Smaragden hat, eine interessante Idee und eine malerische Herausforderung. (Leider dachte ich die ganze Zeit, es wäre der alte Smaragd Drachen gewesen, es ist aber der Topaz Drachen [Danke für die Aufklärung, Matt!])
Die Bemalung ist schon ein paar Jahre alt und ich könnte heute mit gemalten Edelsteineffekten noch wesentlich mehr daraus machen.
Die Base ist wiedermal eine Holzscheibe, die ich wie Marmor bemalt habe.

This is the Topaz Dragon from Ral Partha's " AD&D Dragonlance - Council of Wyrms" series.
I like the idea that the dragon's skin is made of emeralds and it poses a real challenge to paint.
(Well, little mistake by me, I thought it was the Emerald Dragon, but actually it is the Topaz Dragon [Thanks Matt, for pointing that out to me!])
This paintjob is a few years old, and I am sure I could make much more out of it today, by using some gemstone painting techniques.
The base once again is a wooden disk I painted with a marble-effect.
